Mayor Poramet Ngampichet expressed his satisfaction with the work after inspecting the reconstruction and beautification of Thepprasit Road.
The mayor told the people that the project is intended to transform the area into a more visually beautiful and functional environment. He acknowledged the frustration among locals brought on by the deteriorated state of the road and its surroundings.
In order to reduce flooding problems, 180 cm drainage pipes were to be installed. Additionally, underground electrical cabling, upgrades to pedestrian walkways, and the installation of traffic islands, street lights, and crosswalks to promote safer road crossing were all planned improvements. The project also included the installation of traffic signals at the Soi Kho Pai Junction, which started on September 24 and is still ongoing.
Due to its many advantages, using asphalt on cemented surfaces was chosen for the project. The asphalt would not only make maintenance tasks simpler, but it would also lessen how serious accidents are, increase driver visibility, reduce tire wear, prolong the life of the road, and reduce noise from passing vehicles.Thepprasit Road’s traffic island was added for a reason, according to Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, who emphasized its importance in preventing accidents and clearly indicating U-turn locations. Traffic islands would be strategically positioned to improve traffic flow and give drivers specific spaces to make U-turns in a secure manner.
