Important stakeholders met this week in the Cabinet meeting to talk about the upcoming Colorful Bangkok Winter Festival.
The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Culture, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and the National Soft Power Committee were among the stakeholders involved. The purpose of the gathering was to promote TAT’s upcoming activities, which are intended to boost Bangkok’s year-end tourism industry.
TAT and other related organizations were complimented for their preparations by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin. The celebration is predicted to increase confidence in tourists and cheer up the community. The prime minister also thanked the public and business sectors for their cooperation in putting on the festival.
The goal of the vibrant Bangkok Winter Festival is to highlight Thai identity. Traditional Loy Krathong celebrations, as well as arts, music, light displays, and a countdown event, will be among the main attractions. The venues of the activities range from the riverbank of the Chao Phraya to Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem.
