Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, the spokesman for the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration in Bangkok, announced a total of eleven new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 Coronavirus this morning.
All eleven cases are imported cases from Thai Nationals recently arriving in the country from overseas who as part of the Thai government policy went directly into state quarantine. None of the cases were exposed to the general public and today marks the third day in a row with zero locally spread cases nationwide in Thailand.
The rising number of imported cases have also brought renewed fears on border control, notes The Pattaya News, as Thailand strives to essentially eliminate local spread of the virus in the country.

Thailand has had a total of 3,065 cases, with 2,945 having recovered. There have been a total of 57 deaths since the start of the outbreak earlier this year.
Only 63 people remain under treatment for the virus nationwide.
