Thai workers’ bodies flown home

Thai workers' bodies flown home

On Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that eight Thai laborers who died in Israel will be returned home Friday morning.

According to the ministry’s release, an Israeli funeral services firm informed the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv that a forensic institute in Israel had enabled it to transport the dead, whose IDs were verified.

The eight bodies will be transported to Thailand by El Al Flight LY083, which will leave the Middle East on Thursday at 8pm and arrive at Suvarnabhumi airport on Friday at 8.50am.

All male bodies were identified as:

Pichit Nachan

Chairat Sanusan

Phettaew Anan

Pongpat Suchart

Anucha Sophakul

Pongthep Kusaram

Thanakrij Prakotwong

The Foreign Ministry offers deepest sympathies to the families. Detailed information will be given to families.
