TEMPERATURE DROP TO 4 C ON PHU RUEA MOUNTAIN
The Phu Ruea mountain in the Phu Luang wildlife sanctuary became the coldest spot in Loei early on Monday with a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius recorded at its peak.
The province’s Meteorological Office reported a temperature of 4C on Phu Ruea and 6.5C at the top of Phu Kradueng mountain.
The temperature on the lowland in the province ranged from 12 to 17 C in the morning, the office added. In downtown Loei City, for example, the temperature was 12.4C, in Dan Sai district 12C and in Chiang Khan district 15C.
