Taxi driver finds German tourist’s wallet

Approximately 17,000 Thai Baht was found in a foreigner’s wallet, which was turned over to police by a Pattaya motorbike taxi driver.

In the hopes that the owner will come forward and claim the wallet he discovered on Soi Buakhao, Amnuay Plungklang, 49, contacted the media

The wallet included identification belonging to a German person named Franz-Joseph (Surname omitted). There were 6,150 baht and 320 euros inside.

Amnuay, who works at the Big C Extra on Central Road taxi stop, said he has frequently discovered wallets but has never thought to keep the cash or even ask for a reward. He gave the wallet to police as before.
