On Wednesday, the lifeless body of a 47-year-old Slovenian man was discovered in a condominium room in Pattaya. Authorities suspect that he took his own life.
The deceased, identified as Peter Vagner, was found on the 29th floor of Unixx South Pattaya condominium. He was dressed in black shorts and a green T-shirt, lying on a sofa. A plastic bag was tightly wrapped around his head, connected to a gas cylinder via a rubber tube.
Police investigations have not revealed any signs of a struggle or evidence suggesting that the room was burglarized.
Vagner had been residing in the condominium for approximately one month. The discovery of his death was made by a condominium attendant who entered the room for inspection after unsuccessful attempts to reach Vagner by phone. While the initial assessment points to suicide, investigations are still ongoing.
