Police are hunting for suspects after a Saudi man injured from a slash wound in Jomtien yesterday evening.

Lt Chanikan Pueanpinit of the Pattaya City Police was notified of an incident at 11:PM in Soi Jomtien 2.

Police and Sawang Boiboon Thammasathan rescue workers arrived at the scene to find 49-year-old Saudi national Mr. Nasser Mohammed.

He had sustained injuries from a severe slash wound on his right arm. He was rushed to a local hospital.

A 34-year-old witness, Mr. Soothorn Kornklang, who first saw Mr Mohammed, said he called for help but he didn’t know what happened before.

Mr. Mohammed was unable to answer any questions at the scene due to a language barrier and the severity of his wounds. Upon recovery, police will interview him with the assistance of a translator.

Police are continuing their investigation to hunt for the suspects for further legal action. They are reviewing CCTV near the area.
