Yesterday June 1st at noon, a jealous man shot and killed his wife in Pattaya before attempting to kill himself to escape punishment.
A woman was reportedly shot by her husband today in the Banglamung district of Chonburi province at a small neighborhood open-air Thai restaurant. The police sent officers and rescue workers to the location as soon as they received the information to conduct an investigation.
A.38 caliber bullet wound to the right cheek of Mrs. Praipana Tapkratoke, a 36-year-old restaurant employee, resulted in fatal injuries and substantial blood loss. Her body was discovered at the scene.
The terrible occurrence happened in front of stunned diners and restaurant personnel.
The offender, Mr. Buala Khunlat, a 42-year-old tour bus driver and Mrs. Praipana’s husband, was recognized. He made his way away from the scene of the crime and into the restaurant’s parking lot before deciding to shoot himself with the same weapon.
He was discovered with a gunshot wound to his right temple and was severely bloodied, rendering him unconscious.
He received rapid cardiac resuscitation (CPR) and was then promptly transported to Wiparam Hospital by the rescue team and medical personnel.
She claimed that the dead and the suspect got into a violent debate over money and some personal issues. The offender took a gun and fired multiple bullets at the victim while she was scooping rice for a customer, causing her to collapse and die.
Before another gunshot could be heard, the husband then ran away toward the building’s back. Ms. Siriporn called the police for help right away following the event.
The suspect’s gun was taken by the police as evidence. He was still receiving medical care and was still alive.
