The third and final national poll, performed by the National Institute of Development Administration late last month, as well as the nationwide poll of 114,457 eligible voters, conducted by Nation Poll and released today, both had Pita as the top candidate for prime minister.
Yesterday, he staged rallies in Chonburi’s Sattahip, Si Racha, and Ko Sichang districts.
Pita pointed out that the Future Forward Party, Move Forward’s forerunner, won 43,000 votes in the Si Racha district during the previous election, but the chosen MP deceived the people by switching sides.
Kwanlerd Panichmath campaigned for Move Forward as an MP in the 2019 election but switched to the Bhumjaithai Party after winning.
Pita reassured voters that Move Forward had learned its lesson by claiming that its MP candidates go through a rigorous screening procedure and that there are now four stages to the selection process. The sole similarity between Future Forward and Move Forward, according to Pita, is the ideology’s consistency.
Pita predicted that Si Racha would serve as an industrial area for all people, not only business owners.
If elected, Pita promised that the daily pay will rise to 450 baht and that workers would receive the same rights as those seen in other countries.Environmental sensitivity is required for industrial progress, he said.
According to Pita, the Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha rejected the Move Forward Party’s proposal for a Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers Act, which would have required factories to report information regarding greenhouse gas emissions.
In order to safeguard the environment and remove Prayut from Thai politics, he advised voters to support the Move Forward Party.
“May 14 is about more than Pita and moving forward. It concerns everyone. Vote for Move Forward to transform Si Racha and Thailand, he instructed the crowd.
