Qatar Airlines extends their Bangkok Airbus A380 schedule

Beginning in July, it will travel twice daily to Bangkok.

No Qatar Airlines Airbus A380 flights between Doha and Bangkok were available for booking from July to October as of the most recent schedule release. Since then, the A380 service has been expanded and enhanced from the previous daily frequency to twice daily.

Bangkok-bound A380s from Qatar Airlines

Seven of the 10 517-seat A380s owned by the national airline of Qatar are currently in service. In the months of July through October, two of the airline’s four daily flights to Bangkok will use the double-decker quadjet, according to the company’s website, OAG, and Cirium. They were exclusively operated by the Boeing 777-300ER up until the weekend of April 1.

Avoid being duped. Bangkok receives a double-daily A380 service from Qatar Airlines. Up to March 25th2 of 2023, it continued to operate at that frequency to Thailand before dropping to daily. It ran up to three times each day from October 2015 to June 2016, a frequency that temporarily reappeared in 2022. Bangkok flights from June to October

This is the June–October timetable, with all times local, to/from the Thai capital. Because to the two A380 flights, Qatar Airlines currently offers 1,785 leaving tickets on sale to Bangkok (double for both directions), up from the initially anticipated 1,502 seats, by 19% on a given day between July and October.

this summer, four A380 trips

Qatar Airlines is operating four A380 trips from July to October. Bangkok and London Heathrow do not have any A380s, although Perth and Sydney do. Here are the specifics:

Bangkok: thrice each day (half of the four daily flights are by the A380)

London Heathrow: twice each day (of the six to eight daily flights)

per day Perth (all A380)

Sydney: each day (all A380)

Six flights each day

Between July and October, Qatar Airlines’ Doha hub will see six A380 arrivals and six departures each day. Consider Sunday, August 13th, with the following planned in full for that day:

There are 8 daily A380 flights from Bangkok.

Between July and October, Bangkok is served by eight daily A380 flights operated by Asiana, Emirates, and Qatar Airlines (seven from October 30th). Bangkok is now the sixth-most-served airport in the world by A380 flights, behind only Dubai (what a surprise! ), London Heathrow, Singapore, and Sydney, according to Cirium data.

These all function out of Suvarnabhumi on the same snapshot day of August 13th. I particularly appreciate flight number (742) of Asiana:
