The popular U Zenmaya Phuket Resort in Patong has decided to close down permanently at the end of July.
Their announcement, on Facebook, makes it clear that because of the Covid-19 panic response in Thailand they cannot now reopen as planned and are calling it a day at midnight on July 31.
In a message on their page the management have thanked customers and staff, both past and present and invited people to contact them for more information on [email protected].
Customers who currently have reservations will be contacted by email.
Discounts of up to 80% can still be seen on Agoda and online the resort is described as ‘nestled in the heart of Patong’ and ‘an ideal spot to discover Phuket.’
The company said they will still be welcoming guests at all of their other resorts in Thailand, Laos, Indonesia and Vietnam, until further notice.
