Deputy Mayor Manot Nongyai of Pattaya has taken action to alleviate the traffic congestion caused by ongoing construction along Sukhumvit Road. On January 23, the Deputy Mayor led a team comprising representatives from the contracted company, Pattaya police, and Engineering Office staff to address the issue at the North Pattaya traffic lights intersection.
The team’s mission was to tackle the traffic congestion problem by adjusting the timings of the traffic signals to ensure a smoother flow of vehicles. Additionally, the contracted company was instructed to promptly install informative signs. These signs will not only update the public about the ongoing construction but also provide a ray of hope by indicating the expected completion date.
