Pattaya City is getting ready for a number of spectacular events that will take place in June. A spectacular schedule of events is planned for June 17 to promote drug-free living, especially among young people. The celebrations begin at 3 pm beside the memorial to sailors across from Mike Shopping Mall and go until 10 pm at Central Mall.
Five parades will take place on Pattaya Beach throughout the event, and people from a variety of groups—including students, city authorities, and local leaders—will take part. The parades’ main goals will be to increase youth drug abstinence and drug awareness among the general public.
On Pattaya Beach, locals will also interact with visitors and young people from the area to inform them about the dangers of drug use.
A number of cultural acts, presentations, and concerts by local artists will be presented in front of Central Mall from 3pm to 6pm to further emphasize the significance of a drug-free living. These events are anticipated to draw a sizable crowd due to the emphasis on drug-free living.
Attending and demonstrating support for a drug-free youth in Pattaya is open to everyone. The city is committed to fostering a safe and healthy environment for all inhabitants and visitors, as evidenced by its efforts to fight drug use through entertaining and instructive events.
A big international conference on smart cities will also be held in Pattaya in June. The conference will be held at the Pattaya Royal Cliff Hotel’s PEACH convention center from June 25 to June 28. The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau and the IEEE Power & Energy Society Thailand are working together to organize the event. The topic of this year’s smart cities conference, which is in its tenth year, is “The Revolutions of Mankind.”
A range of seminars, displays, and demonstrations centered on smart city technology will be included at the event. The goal is to make it easier for people to share knowledge about developing smart cities, which will help global urban planning initiatives.
