ONE Fight Night 28 Results: Prajanchai Retains Title, Kongthoranee Wins

Prajanchai PK Saenchai defended his ONE Strawweight Muay Thai world title with a TKO victory over Ellis Badr Barboza at ONE Fight Night 28. The event took place on Saturday, February 8, and featured intense matchups, including a co-main event where Kongthoranee Sor Sommai edged out Nong-O Hama by split decision.

In the main event, Prajanchai secured his win in the fourth round by delivering a powerful elbow that opened a significant cut above Barboza’s eye. After the ringside doctor assessed Barboza, he deemed the fighter unfit to continue, resulting in a doctor stoppage at 1:55 of the round. This victory marked Prajanchai’s sixth consecutive win in ONE Championship, earning him a USD 100K bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
