With the introduction of two new daily direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Suvarnabhumi Airport on June 28, 2023, and a second daily flight to Don Mueang International Airport on July 1, 2023, Malaysia’s newest low-cost carrier, MYAirline, has made Bangkok its first foreign destination.
A second daily service will be added to both airports starting on August 17, 2023, making a total of four daily flights operated by MYAirline between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
The airline, which was founded in January 2021, claimed to be the first Malaysian carrier to fly to both Bangkok airports and said it has plans to eventually begin offering flights to additional Thai cities like Phuket, Krabi, and Chiang Mai.
“MyAirline is giving tourists more options and flexibility in terms of traveling between Thailand and Malaysia, catering to travelers’ specific needs and enabling them to plan their itineraries more efficiently,” stated Mrs. Sirintara Surakanitaya, Director of TAT Kuala Lumpur Office.
The once daily flights to both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports – to become twice daily on 17 August 2023 – offer tourists increased choice in traveling to Thailand.
