Thailand’s election-winning Move Forward Party is no longer a member of an eight-party coalition formed following a May general election in an attempt to form the country’s next government, an alliance member said on Wednesday (Aug 2).
“Pheu Thai called us to tell us that the eight parties no longer have Move Forward,” Palang Sakom Mai party leader Chaowarit Khajohnpongkirat told Reuters.
In the May elections, Move Forward was the largest party, followed by Pheu Thai.
