More than 2 million meth pills seized in Nonthaburi

Narcotic suppression officials yesterday (August 17, 2020) raided a single-storey house and arrested two drug traffickers in Nonthaburi province, adjoining Bangkok, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported.

The officials seized 2.1 million methamphetamine pills, 3 kilograms of marijuana and one kilogram of ‘ice’ (crystal meths).

The traffickers, one of them 17 years old, said they received between 10,000-30,000 baht for delivering the drugs to clients.

The young man also helped the gang mix the ingredients to make meth pills.

Last month, narcotic suppression officials seized 12 million meth pills in the northern province of Loei.
