Thousands of internet users liked the tale when it was first posted on the mayor of Pattaya’s Facebook page. According to the article, Kwanchai frequently visited the beach because he enjoyed using his dependable metal detector to search for hidden wealth.
He was searching for any potential treasure on Wednesday when a desperate visitor requested him to check for a gold necklace that they had dropped at the beach. Kwanchai immediately acted and started utilizing his detector to discover the misplaced gold jewelry without asking for anything in return. He dug up a one-baht-weight gold necklace from Pattaya Beach’s sand in under five minutes. The traveler kindly thanked him after he returned it to him.
In 30 years of beach metal detecting, Kwanchai told the local media that he had mostly discovered 5 or 10 baht coins. He advised tourists and beachgoers to exercise caution when wearing valuables while swimming or taking part in beach activities.
