A rice farmer was strangled when his T-shirt got caught in the shaft of a rice-milling machine in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Bua Yai district on Tuesday evening.
Police said Sao Lekpanao, 69, was killed when the machine pulled his t-shirt, causing his neck to be crushed in the machine.
His wife, Amnuay Prachanan, 56, called police at 6pm after she returned from her rice field to find the body.
She said her husband had a small machine to mill his own paddies and to provide milling services for other farmers in the neighbourhood.
