His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen of Thailand visited Nong Bua Lam Phu Hospital this evening (Friday), to meet the families of the victims of yesterday’s mass shooting.
Their Majesties also visited the injured receiving treatment in the hospital.
HM the King told the victims to believe that the relevant officials will help everyone to recover.
“I feel very saddened that this incident has happened.
It is a time of sorrow that I don’t know how to explain.
I empathize with you. If you are in difficulties, let me help and take care (of you).
I offer my condolences to you.
There are no words that can describe the sorrow.
I would like to show support and wish you to be strong enough, so the spirits of the children can be at ease.
I will make merit and pray for those who have passed away and support everyone.
I am very sorry.
I will do what I can and do my best to support everyone,” said His Majesty.
Then, their majesties went to visit Udon Thani Hospital to hear updates on the conditions of a 3-year-old boy and a 21-year-old-man injured in the shooting, who have been receiving treatment there, before traveling to an Air force facility in Udon Thani to fly back to Bangkok.
