The hotel industry in Pattaya is currently undergoing a remarkable upsurge, with certain hotels reporting occupancy rates exceeding 90%.
As per Mr. Wit Tantivorawong, the Managing Director of the Support Division at Land and Houses Plc’s Grand Center Point hotels – one of Thailand’s leading hotel brands, both Bangkok and Pattaya are witnessing a significant rise in occupancy numbers.
In Bangkok, hotel occupancy has soared to 85%, with an average daily room rate of 6,000 baht. In contrast, Pattaya’s hotels have experienced an even more substantial surge, boasting occupancy rates of up to 90% and hitting a peak of 99% on certain days, as noted by Mr. Wit.
