One man has died and another was seriously injured in a head-on collision between two pickup trucks in Mae Taeng early yesterday, June 23.
The accident happened between the 39 and 40-kilometer markers on Chiang Mai – Phrao Road (Highway 1001) in Mae Hor Phra Village, Moo 5 Mae Ho Phra at around 1:35 am.
According to reports, one of the pickup trucks has crossed the road on a curve slamming head-on into the other pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction.
The deceased man was named as Mr. Jesada Supajit, 49, from Mae Ho Phra who was heading home when the accident occurred. The driver of the other pickup truck was not named.
Police are said to be investigating.
