The Meteorological Department issued a warning today that the heat indices in Phuket tomorrow (Friday), Laem Chabang in Chon Buri province, and Bang Na tomorrow will all be above 54 degrees Celsius, which is extremely hot.
According to the department, prolonged exposure to this kind of heat can cause heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and cramps in the legs, stomach, and shoulders.
It is anticipated that Phetchabun in the North and Maha Sarakham’s Kosum Phisai district will have heat indices of 48.1°C and 44.5°C, respectively.
