The fire at Bangkok central world this week did not start on the eighth floor as previously claimed.
Experts this week confirmed that it began in a waste management room in the basements and spread through ducting to the eighth floor.
Central World was evacuated on Wednesday through to Thursday and saw shop workers sat outside waiting to see if they were allowed back in while they waited for forensics and insurance investigators to complete their checks.
