East Thailand and Pattaya are both hit by thunderstorms.

Phanat Nikhom was hit by a storm in the early rainy season that destroyed 100 dwellings, however no one was hurt.

The Numsub Community in Na Wang Hin was affected on April 24 by a brief but intense storm. Houses, a convenience store, a parking lot, and a bus stop were all damaged as numerous trees fell.

Preeyanuch Niyom, a 33-year-old resident, claimed that three minutes after the rain started, strong winds blew tiles from her roof and scattered items throughout the market.According to the police, 100 structures received different degrees of damage. Roadblocking trees, some of which were perhaps 100 years old, were swiftly removed by the district’s Disaster Prevention and Mitigation.

At the Jay Kasem Pol junction on Highway 332 in Sattahip, another tree also fell victim to the same storm. It was also swiftly cleaned up.
