Computers have been stolen from a primary school in Pathum Thani for the fourth time, the school director said on Tuesday.
Muang Pathum Thani police called to Sathit Pathum School in Tambon Bang Khuwat spotted an individual on a security camera recording, walking calmly to the school’s computer lab.
School director Prachumporn Suwantra said the thief removed the casings of nine computers and stole the processors and memory and hard drives.
Six of the machines were in the computer lab, two in a bilingual-education classroom and one in the teachers’ quarters.
She said the crook also made off with two brand-name handbags and a pair of Nike sneakers.
Lamenting that the nine computers had only been installed a month ago, Prachumporn said the school was burglarised at the beginning of every semester, when the computers were newly purchased.
This was the fourth robbery, she said, and she hoped there would be an arrest this time.
