One person dead after a container truck over turns onto a sedan in Chonburi

A container truck collided with a vehicle in Mueang Chonburi, and one person was declared deceased at the spot.

On Saturday, May 27, at 5:35 a.m., the collision on the highway near Nong Ree was reported to emergency personnel. The body of the driver, known only as Ms. Santhiya, 34, from Sisaket, was discovered inside the automobile. Rescue personnel nearby discovered another slightly damaged vehicle.

The driver, a 29-year-old woman only known as Ms. Thitima, who was just slightly hurt and  said  “I have no idea how the accident happened.

I didn’t even notice till I got hit myself.I was driving in the left lane and the sedan was in the right lane, the container driver, who was only known as Mr. Sonthaya and was 30 years old. The sedan driver turned in front of my vehicle without waiting. I was unable to brake in time to avoid losing control of my car since it was raining. The vehicle was then crushed under my overturned truck.

To determine the precise reason for the collision and any legal action, police are reviewing surrounding CCTV footage.
