Additionally, the low-cost carrier has further plans. It will become the first Malaysian airline to fly to both of Bangkok’s international airports on July 1st, just a few days after it begins daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK). Later in the summer, MYAirline hopes to boost the frequency of both routes to double daily.

Rayner Teo, the CEO of MYAirline, praised the news in a statement, adding,

“We are thrilled to finally announce our first overseas location, which has been in the works for many months. Bangkok is a popular travel destination for Malaysians because it has so much to offer, from its busy streets and delectable cuisine to its cultural sites and nightlife. We are thrilled to offer travelers a more dependable, practical, and economical travel choice. In a similar vein, we are eager to provide travelers and business travelers flying out of Thailand with the same experience that Malaysians have enjoyed aboard MYAirline for the past six months.

Bangkok Don Mueang to Kuala Lumpur with AirAsia, Batik Air Malaysia, and Thai AirAsia
