A motorcyclist in the Pattaya area perishes after crashing into a sign post

Today, May 16, a 34-year-old Thai rider was critically injured when his motorcycle collided with a sign post.Mr. Eknakakorn Krasaechan, 34, of Sisaket province, was found dead in the Thung Krat sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi, close to the 132+800 kilometer sign. He had significant head and forehead injuries, and Sawang Boriboon rescuers declared him dead at the site.

The body was discovered this morning about 8 AM, according to an eyewitness who only went by the name Mr. Saharat. The individual told the local media that Mr. Eknakakorn was approaching a U-turn on a motorcycle at a fast rate of speed. His body was thrown off a motorcycle into a sign post when he lost control and collided into a traffic island.According to Mr. Saharat, he jumped in to assist the victim and asked for help.

Unfortunately, Mr. Eknakakorn passed away from his severe wounds before help could reach him.On a nearby road, the victim’s red Honda Wave 125 i motorcycle was discovered. Rescuers from Sawang Boriboon brought his remains to Banglamung Hospital for funeral services.
