Israeli sought over Australian tourist stabbing in Pattaya

Pattaya police are seeking an arrest warrant for an Israeli tourist for allegedly stabbing an Australian man in a Pattaya nightclub early on Thursday.

But the police admitted that they have learned from the Immigration Bureau that the suspect fled the kingdom.

Pol Capt Sombat Kaewmoolsuk summoned club staff for interrogation to get information for an arrest warrant.

Sombat said Jaydon Sienkiewicz, 21, was severely injured in his abdomen at 4am on Thursday and was rushed to Pattaya Hospital.

Security video showed Sienkiewicz was sitting at a table in the Mix Discotheque when the Israeli tourist walked in with his girlfriend.

It showed the Australian grabbing the bottom of the Israeli’s girlfriend, leading to a dispute and the Israeli pulled a knife and stabbed the Australian. The woman tried but failed to prevent her boyfriend from stabbing the Australian.
