A Thai woman is currently in a coma at a Pattaya hospital due to a collapsed lung following a brutal assault by her boyfriend after she did not meet his cleaning standards in their condominium.
The victim’s friend, Thanankornkan “Pim” Boonlaeb, took to social media to highlight the shocking behavior of the attacker and to seek justice for her friend. Pim shared photos of the injured 27-year-old, Phanpanat, with a caption that read: “My friend’s lung collapsed. You physically assaulted her and even forced her to clean your room. She had to crawl to clean up, and you beat her again when it wasn’t to your liking. Don’t you have a heart? This is just a brief account because my friend still can’t speak.”
Pim also noted that the attacker’s mother plans to sue Phanpanat, despite her son being the assailant. She described how the mother has spoiled her son and condoned his behavior, refusing to offer any compensation to Phanpanat.
Since Phanpanat is still unable to speak to the media, Matichon reached out to Pim for further details. She confirmed that she had included everything she knew in her post and had filed a complaint against the attacker at Mueang Pattaya Police Station.
Pim expressed concern that the suspect has not contacted either her or Phanpanat since the incident, fearing he might evade consequences. This motivated her to share the story on social media to raise awareness.
