Fifteen individuals were arrested during a police raid targeting illegal gambling at a luxury resort in Na Jomtien, Chonburi. The operation took place on the evening of September 28th, when Region 2 Police stormed the resort in the Na Jomtien sub-district of Sattahip, Chonburi province, apprehending more than 15 suspects involved in illegal gambling activities.
The suspects were found playing the Pok 8-9 card game. Authorities confiscated 100 baht in cash, three decks of cards, and various other gambling paraphernalia. All individuals were subsequently transferred to the Na Jomtien Police Station to face charges of “participating in illegal gambling for money.”
