In the early hours of the morning, a shocking incident unfolded at a convenience store in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri Province, where a 16-year-old boy allegedly attacked a 19-year-old store employee, Kritsana, with a knife. The assailant, identified as A, reportedly leapt over the counter and stabbed Kritsana in the shoulder before swiftly fleeing the scene.
The incident, which occurred at 12:36 AM, was promptly reported to Chonlawit Athisansee, Deputy Inspector at the Pattaya City Police Station. Emergency services from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Centre rushed to the store to provide first aid to Kritsana, who suffered a significant shoulder injury in the attack.
According to the victim’s account, he was working behind the counter when the assailant, driven by jealousy, launched the sudden attack. A believed that Kritsana had been secretly communicating with his girlfriend, which allegedly fueled his rage and led to the violent confrontation.
Law enforcement authorities immediately launched an investigation into the incident, focusing on apprehending the perpetrator and understanding the motives behind the attack. Fortunately, due to prompt action by the police, A was later apprehended. During interrogation, he confessed to stabbing Kritsana and admitted that jealousy was the primary motive for his actions.
