The TMD warned locals to exercise caution since the extreme weather could result in flash floods and spills.
The department also anticipated that the upper Andaman Sea will have waves that were 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters offshore from Saturday through Monday. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should remain onshore until Monday, and all ships should proceed cautiously.

According to Minister of Digital Economy and Society Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, the department has not identified any storms that would impact Thailand between Tuesday and next Monday, nor are any storms brewing over the South China Sea.
Even though Cyclone Mocha won’t make landfall in Thailand, he continued, its impact will bring torrential rain to the North from Thursday through Sunday.
He noted that Sunday will see a strengthening of the southwest winds, which will bring heavy rain to nearly 60% of the nation.
