A 43-year-old man has sustained serious injuries after suffering a significant electric shock while fixing an air conditioner at a house in Mueang Chonburi yesterday.

Emergency responders were notified of the incident at 10:00 AM at a house in Ang Sila.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find Mr. Tanasan Wuttikunakorn, 43, who was unconscious. He was rushed to a local hospital.

The supervisor of the air conditioner crew, Mr. Wanlop Saetan, 31, told police that they were fixing an air conditioner at a customer’s home.

Mr. Tanasan was on a ladder testing the electric current in the air conditioner. After that he fell from a height of several feet suffering from an electric shock. Wanlop stated that he believed all proper precautions were taken and was unsure what had gone wrong.

Mueang Chonburi police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of electric shock.
