Katie Price has shown off ‘disturbing’ stumps of teeth lying underneath her veneers, saying she looks like ‘the man with metal teeth’ out of the James Bond films as she gets a new smile fitted.
Price, 42, took fans along to a recent appointment, having travelled to Turkey to get her teeth redone and filmed the process – before adding the footage to her YouTube channel today.
The former glamour model begins the video, which is titled ‘Getting My New Teeth Fitted!’, by explaining she needs new veneers.
Pointing to her feet and ankles, which she broke on holiday recently, Price says it’s gone ‘from one thing to the next’, adding: “Today, I am here to have my new teeth fitted.
“Look at these beauties! I’m so excited, they’re so much better than my old ones.”
Spitting out two of her teeth that she said had come loose at breakfast, the mum-of-five says with a laugh: “So this happened today, that’s already out!”
She then goes on to have all of her current veneers removed so that the new ones can be inserted, but in between she reluctantly shows the camera the stumps underneath.
Trying to cover her face, she says: “Oh you can’t film me, that’s so bad! How awful is that?!”
Eventually, however, Price simply grins and bears it telling her 222,000 subscribers: “No pain, no gain, if you wanna get your teeth done, you have to look like that.”
Two days ago, Price also shared another video detailing how she and boyfriend Carl Woods had to get their teeth ‘shaved down to pegs’ in preparation for their new veneers.
With numbed-up lips and shaven teeth, Price joked that she looked like Jaws, a baddie from James Bond flicks The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker.
“I’m feeling good, just numb,” she says to the camera.
“I look like something out of James Bond. The man with metal teeth.”
Many people commented to praise Price for her candour about the whole thing, with one fan commenting on YouTube: “You made me laugh. With broken feet and no teeth your still smiling and laughing.”
Others, however, found it a lot more unnerving.
Someone else wrote: “The most disturbing thing I’ve seen in a long time. Thank God I kinda have good teeth.”
Another added: “Seriously disturbing they look awful, dentists shouldnt agree to do this to healthy teeth.”
