A large number of tourists from around the country have travelled to the northern Thai provinces of Chiang Mai and Loei to enjoy cool weather and view mountain sceneries, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported today (Nov 12, 2019).
Doi Inthanon National Park’s chief officer Kritsayam Kongsatree said the temperature plunged to 5 degrees Celcius on the mountain in Chiang Mai early this morning. At the national park office down the mountain, the lowest temperature was 12 degrees Celcius.
At Phu Kradung National Park in the northern province of Loei, the temperature was recorded at 10 degrees Celcius this morning. It is the lowest temperature recorded at the park this year.
