Pattaya CycleFest

Cycling enthusiasts have three more weeks to dust off their bikes and prepare themselves for the “Bangkok Bank CycleFest 2019”, which will take place at Siam Country Club in Pattaya, Chon Buri, on Nov 23-24.

The third edition of the annual cycling extravaganza will once again feature thrilling races and plenty of off-track fun expected to attract at least 3,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities to take part across seven categories.

The fun-filled weekend will offer competitive and leisure ride options from 12km to 62km on the scenic, safe, closed-road circuits around Siam Country Club, one of Thailand’s most renowned international sporting event venues.

In between race events, participants can enjoy quality time with family and friends at the Festival Village. There will be outlets offering an extensive range of renowned cycling brand equipment, food and beverage booths, games, gift giveaways, and a free BMX Pump Trace zone.

The seven categories include CycleFest Masters which is open to riders aged 45 years and older, CycleFest Open for riders 18 years and older, CycleFest Classic for riders of 18 years and older, Pattaya Sprint for riders 16 years and older, Off-Road Challenge for riders of 18 years and older, Family Ride for riders eight years and older, and CycleFest Team Time Trial for teams of five riders.

The first three categories will take place on Nov 23 and the remaining four on Nov 24. The first, second and third winners of each category will receive a trophy.

The early-bird fee is 850 baht including a race pack but 750 baht for the Pattaya Sprint category and 700 baht for the Family Ride (600 baht for kids) if registered by Aug 14.

Proceeds will be donated to the Siriraj Foundation to support the treatment and care for underprivileged patients at Siriraj Hospital.
