A 128-year-old man in the northeastern Thai province of Udon Thani on Monday (26 August 2019) revealed the secret of his longevity to a reporter from Khao Sod newspaper.
Born during the reign of King Rama 5, Mr. Orn Parnchompoo and his 70-year-old wife Song Parnchompoo have seven children and 11 grandchildren, all living together in None Somboon Village of Sitart District.
Clean food and physical exercise are the secret of his longevity. He showed his strength by sweeping his wooden house and climbing a flight of stairs.
“All my friends have died and I still miss them,” said Mr. Orn. “If possible, I would like to live until I reach the age of 200.”
