This is the touching moment a kind-hearted policeman picked up a monitor lizard that was killed by a car and buried the creature on the roadside. The officer noticed the lifeless reptile after it was run over on the Dan Chang Highway in Suphan Buri, central Thailand . He caringly dug a grave on the side of the road then liften the carcass and dropped it into the hole for a ”proper burial”. Liutenant Colonel Theeraset Bodikun said: ”I think that if somebody hits an animal they should stop to check on them. It’s not safe to leave them in the road because it could cause another accident.”
