Jamie Vardy Goal 103
On 48 minutes Demarai Gray put Ricardo Pereira in space on Leicester’s right and he put one of those crosses into the corridor of uncertainty where the keeper can’t come and defenders have to turn and face their own goal. None of them reacted fast enough and Vardy tapped in with his left foot from six yards.
Jamie Vardy Goal 104
Vardy wrapped up the scoring in the 84th minute from the spot after he’d been taken out by Terence Kongolo.
Leicester Look A Completely Different Side Under Rodgers
Leicester are now up to 7th in the Premier League and on course for Europa League qualification. They look far superior than they did under Claude Puel and Vardy can’t stop smiling and scoring. That’s eight in his last eight games and he’s on 15 for the season.
A couple of Leicester youngsters were also on target with Youri Tielemans, on loan from Monaco and with serious questions about him joining for £40 million, scoring the first on 24 minutes. Huddersfield only partially cleared a corner on their right and Tielemans, on the edge of the D outside the box curled his shot into the net. James Maddison scored the 3rd direct from a free kick from about 25 yards.
