What Happens When Teams Are Knocked Out of the FA Cup Early!

Plus Neil’s Reaction to His Side’s Late Win

Southampton sitting in 18th place in the Premier League, and knocked out of the FA Cup after going 2-0 up against Derby County in both FA Cup games, are soaking up some winter sun during their week off!

Hopefully Ralph Hasenhüttl can install some game management into his team as they are masters of blowing leads and conceding late goals.

Against Cardiff, last Saturday, they did it again. Jack Stephens, possibly playing out of his depth, looked like being the hero with his 90 + 1 minute equaliser to Sol Bamba’s opener for Cardiff. But it wasn’t to be as he became the villain two minutes later when his sloppy ball lead to Kenneth Zohore’s winner.
