Soldiers based in the southern Thai provinces of Satun and Songkhla yesterday (Feb 1, 2019) announced the seizure of narcotic drugs worth 10 million baht in a sting operation, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported.
Seventy-three drug traffickers were arrested in the crackdown, which was hailed as a big success.
More than 1,800 methamphetamine pills were seized along with more than 5,000 kilograms of marijuana and 82 grams of crystal meths.
