In Rayong, a nine-month-old infant was discovered on the beach. Initially mistaken for a playful child by beachgoers, a closer inspection revealed it to be a lifeless body.
Authorities were notified at 6:30 PM and recovered the baby near the PM Way coastal area, adjacent to the wave barrier dam. The body appeared intact but showed visible signs of skin peeling and was clothed in a diaper. A witness who observed the scene while near the sea in the evening reported the incident.
Police are considering the possibility of maternal infanticide, suspecting that the baby may have been born and then discarded into the sea. An investigation is currently ongoing to unravel the circumstances and take appropriate legal measures.
