On March 19th, there was a report that at the Krabi Provincial Bus Station, Tambon Krabi Yai, Mueang District, Krabi Province, a CCTV recorded an incident of a young woman getting off a Phuket-Patthalung route bus, license plate number 10-2117 Trang, traveling from Phuket Province, stopping for a break at Krabi Provincial Bus Station. Before heading into the restroom, accompanied by a girl about 7 years old. However, when she returned from the restroom, only the young woman boarded the bus and left, leaving the girl behind. The incident occurred in the evening of March 18th.
According to the report, the girl walked out of the restroom but did not find her mother. They inquired with people in the area and later found out that she had been brought there and abandoned by her mother, who had boarded a bus to escape. The authorities were notified, and upon checking, it was found that the girl’s mother is a 25-year-old native of Trang Province.
The authorities then called the bus driver to talk to the girl’s mother to come and pick her up, but the mother mentioned that the girl’s father, who works in construction in Pela, Klong Tom District, Krabi Province, will come to pick her up before hanging up the call.
Initially, the authorities coordinated with relatives and have safely delivered the girl to her relatives’ house.”
