Villagers in Pathumthani Province are complaining about the Klong Luang Police Station after many of them went to file a report during the night but there was no police at the station.
Many of the villagers ended up sleeping at the police station as a way to pass the time while they wait for an officer to come in.
An administrative official also came in to deliver a suspect connected to a drug case with the police but there were no officers at the station to accept the suspect.
The Workpoint News Team was contacted by villagers at around 3 am on 27 October 2019. Villagers went to the Klong Luang Police Station in Klong 2, Pathumthani to file a report.
There were no officers at the station and many other villagers were in the station sleeping on the chairs as they were also waiting for an officer to come in.
Administrative officials from the Department of Provincial Administration (DOPA) came in to deliver a suspect related to a drug case.
The suspect was also arrested because he was on drugs driving a vehicle on the road. There were no officers at the station to accept the suspect.
The Administrative officials called Police Colonel Termpao Siripuban from his name and number on the police station door. No one answered the call so they had to call 191 instead.
Finally, at around 4 am a Klong Luang Police Officer came in. On the same day at 16.00 Pol.Col Termpao reported on the incident with related officials.
He stated that there was an officer at the police station at the time accepting reports. When the Administrative officials arrived they had a miscommunication.
The person sleeping in front of the police station came to the station at 1 am because he was lost. The police delivered him back home in the morning.
A relative of the drug case suspect stated that when he came to bail out his relative he saw a police officer walking inside the station.
One of the Administration officers later confirmed that he had a miscommunication with the officer inside the station.
This is why a video was taken to where he said “not a single soul is here” the video was then sent to other officials as a joke.
He had no idea how the video was leaked out into the public. The official confirms that there was an officer working at the police station during such time.
