Two Suspects Arrested in Pattaya After Brutal Attack on Laotian Woman
Pattaya – Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the violent assault and robbery of a 26-year-old Laotian woman in early February.
At 2:06 AM on March 25th, Pattaya Police apprehended Ms. Ritthai, 23, and Mr. Peerarat, 28, at a residence in Central Pattaya. Authorities also recovered the Honda Wave 110i motorcycle used in the crime, which had been repainted from red-and-black to gray in an attempt to avoid detection.
Both suspects declined to speak to reporters, stating they would only provide statements to the police.
Violent Assault and Robbery
The attack took place on February 2nd in Soi Thepprasit, where a group of seven assailants targeted the victim. According to reports:

The female suspect allegedly slapped and cut the victim’s face with a knife.

Male attackers repeatedly kicked her while another brandished a firearm.

The group stole 7,000 baht, a phone, a passport, and motorcycle keys before fleeing.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to track down the remaining suspects involved in the attack.
