Two men found with COVID-19, arriving from abroad

A 35-year-old Thai man and a 71-year-old Qatar man are now in alternative quarantine in Bangkok after having been found with COVID-19, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported today (August 24, 2020).

The Thai man arrived in Bangkok from New Delhi on August 8 and the Qatar man arrived in Bangkok on August 22.

The Thai man was found with COVID-19 after the third inspection.

The Qatar man was in alternative quarantine at a private hospital immediately after his arrival in Bangkok. He has travelled to Bangkok several times to receive medical treatment for liver cancer.
