Turkish hero intervenes in domestic violence

Two Turkish tourists who were in the’sin city’ of Pattaya helped a Cambodian woman who might have been in danger. When they intervened to stop a man from Cambodia who appeared to be violently pursuing his girlfriend in the early hours of yesterday morning, they unintentionally found themselves in the role of heroes. Approximately two hours ago, on Pattaya Klang Road, this incidence took place.

When Pattaya police quickly arrived on the scene, they discovered the Turkish men beating the Cambodian man and put an end to further altercations between the three. While the 36-year-old Cambodian male, Sopin Ran, had a cut on his mouth and obvious bruising, Valkan Goglbankan, 33, and Ibrshim Gokhan Bostan, 23, just got minor injuries.

In addition to these people, the scene also included two Thai ladies who are assumed to be the Turkish men’s friends and an unnamed woman who is thought to be Sopin’s girlfriend. To the Pattaya Police Station for questioning, all six people were escorted. Sopin acknowledged having a verbal argument with his girlfriend earlier when questioned.

He purposefully hit her car as he followed her over Pattaya Klang Road on his motorcycle in an effort to physically stop her from fleeing. He was suddenly attacked by both of the Turkish males, who were riding past on their motorcycle. Police were able to question the Thai women there after doing further investigation. They said that Goglbankan and Bostan decided to step in after observing Sopin abusing a woman.

They initially inquired as to Sopin’s objectives, but were merely given stern orders to mind their own business. The two felt compelled to intervene violently after observing Sopin’s persistent hostility toward his fiancée.

Due to the fact that she was a victim of domestic abuse, the police have not yet made any statements from Sopin’s anonymous girlfriend public. To get a thorough picture of what happened, police are carefully analyzing the many versions of what happened that each party has to say.
